Vampire Slayer Mod for Half-Life
Vampire Slayer
Vampire Slayer is a multiplayer modification for Half-Life that transforms the standard gameplay into a thematic, team-based match between Vampires and Vampire Slayers. This mod adds a unique twist to the Half-Life experience, pitting two asymmetrical teams against each other in intense, round-based battles. Players choose to join either the Vampires or Slayers and aim to eliminate the opposing team to secure victory. Future updates may include additional round objectives to enhance gameplay.
Gameplay Overview
The game emphasizes the contrast between the Vampires' supernatural speed, agility, and close-range lethality against the Slayers' reliance on an arsenal of ranged weapons. While Vampires lack ranged attacks, they can move silently, leap great distances, and deliver devastating melee strikes. To defeat Vampires, Slayers must employ stakes or a "stake-firing crossbow," as bullets alone are insufficient to kill them permanently. Vampires incapacitated by gunfire will rise again if not staked. Additionally, Vampires can feed on corpses to regain health, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.
Further details and the gameplay manual can be found on the Official Vampire Slayer Website.
